Reggae & Vibe Festival {RVF}

To all traders

The RVF team welcomes all enquiries to trade at this festival, and for those that are finally confirmed to trade, we hope you have a wonderful and prosperous time.  This event will not be based on how many traders we can get on to our site for the sake of making as much money from our vendors as we possibly can.  Please be assured that, although we are here to make money like everybody else, the thing is how you go about making it.

Our ethos is to provide our customers with as good a quality product as possible but also fair trading prices that should be reflected by the pitch fee.  The majority of complaints from other festivals have been mainly aimed at certain food stalls that charge over the top prices without quality and even, in some cases, quantity.  I would advise any trader with this sort of mindset to not apply to this event.

A variety of vendors and traders would be most welcomed as we wish to have a greater selection of items on offer that would give the sense of a market stall atmosphere.

•    We hope to be able to provide a major food distribution company that is willing to service our food traders with daily stock.
•    RVF asks that all traders be pleasant to our customers and having a smiling and helpful trader is always a big benefit for all concerned.
•    RVF’s Site Manager will advise all traders of an allocated time slot, which would require the trader to be ready to be placed in position.  This will be the same for removal.
•    All vendors will be advised as to the trading hours. When not trading we ask all vendors to make their pitches safe.
•    Requirements for all certificates and insurances are current and up to date with copies to be forwarded to the RVF Vendor Sales Manager when submitting application forms.
•    RVF will provide an allocated area for staff conveniences, which will be sanitised regularly.
•    It is a requirement that your H & S and Public Liability insurance certificates are visible at all times of trading as inspectors will be on site.
•    Please be aware, any trader or their staff caught using illegal drugs at any time while on the festival premises will be shut down and escorted from the site by security staff, to be dealt with by the police.  They will be unable to have their stall removed from the site until the end of the event.
•    If you, or any of your staff members, have a medical condition please advise a member of the medical team on site, so that they are aware of your condition and can be prepared in case of emergency.
•    We ask that all traders keep their pitch area “clean and green” at all times, and to dispose of all rubbish ethically.
